Location

Cove Watersports operates on Indian Arm located near Deep Cove, North Vancouver, 25 minutes from downtown Vancouver. Indian Arm is 18kms long with many bays and inlets which make it easy to find calm water. Surrounded by spectacular scenery and wildlife Indian Arm is North America's most southern fjord. Our boats can usually be found in Bedwell bay, home of the Vancouver Waterski Club.

When visiting Cove Watersports bring your friends and family to enjoy everything Deep Cove has to offer from the infamous donuts at Honey goodies to the well-known hike up Quarry Rock. Enjoy a cold drink and an appetizer on the patio at Arms Reach, head to the playground with the kids, or take a swim at the lifeguarded beach in Panorama Park.

WHERE TO PARK?

As you enter Deep Cove on Gallant Ave. there is free hourly parking on the street, which is monitored closely. There are also 2 free parking lots, the first parking lot is east of Gallant on Panorama Drive, and the other is on Banbury road on the west side of the road behind the Deep Cove Canoe and Kayak centre.

WHERE TO MEET COVE WATERSPORTS?

The instructor will be waiting for you at the end of the government dock in Deep Cove. The Government Dock is located between the Deep Cove Canoe and Kayak Center, and the Deep Cove Yacht Club. The Government Dock is the only dock which is accessible by the public. Sometimes if the dock is busy the boat will sit off to the side or the end, stay where you are the instructors will be looking for you.

NOTE: When coming to Deep Cove on a weekend come extra early, parking can be extremely difficult. We suggest approximately 30-45 minutes.

Traveling by Car via Hwy 1 Whistler/West Vancouver to Deep Cove

  • Take Exit 22 (Lynn Creek/Capilano University/Mount Seymour Parkway)
  • Turn Left on to Fern Street
  • The road will fall to the right and become Mt. Seymour Parkway
  • Turn Left on to Deep Cove Rd. (will become Gallant Ave.)
  • Park your car and walk down to the end of the street on Gallant Ave. toward the water.

Traveling by Car via Hwy 1 Vancouver/Second Narrows Bridge to Deep

  • Find your way to Hwy 1 and cross the Second Narrows Bridge
  • Take exit 23B toward Dollarton Hwy
  • Follow Dollarton Hwy for 7 km.
  • Continue on to Deep Cove Rd (will become Gallant Ave.)
  • Park your car and walk down to the end of the street on Gallant Ave. toward the water.

Traveling by Bus

  • There are a few buses that come to Deep Cove.
  • Make your way to Phibbs Exchange if you are coming from downtown, West Vancouver, Burnaby etc.
  • Then take either the 211 or 212. (The 212 is a more direct route.)
  • On each route Deep Cove is the very last stop.
  • Once you get off the bus, walk down to the end of the street on Gallant Ave. toward the water.

Once at the end of Gallant Ave, follow the set of stairs to the right of the turn around all the way to the bottom. At the bottom of the stairs, continue straight ahead to the Government Dock and walk all the way to the very end; your instructor will be waiting for you in our Super Air Nautique.
